Bodyweight 500
I did the Turbulence Training workout called Bodyweight 500. It's a killer - it was even harder than I expected.
I completed it in 34 minutes. The 25 pull-ups and 25 chin-ups are the toughest parts.

Poem of the Day - Longing
Longing
Come to me in my dreams, and then
By day I shall be well again!
For so the night will more than pay
The hopeless longing of the day.
Come, as thou cam'st a thousand times,
A messenger from radiant climes,
And smile on thy new world, and be
As kind to others as to me!
Or, as thou never cam'st in sooth,
Come now, and let me dream it truth,
And part my hair, and kiss my brow,
And say, My love why sufferest thou?
Come to me in my dreams, and then
By day I shall be well again!
For so the night will more than pay
The hopeless longing of the day.

My new favorite workout book
More in-depth analysis later, but I am enamored with Men's Health Power Training by Robert dos Remedios.
I have been following the program seriously for about three weeks, with a build up week before that to try out some of the new exercises. In a nutshell, the programs are based on explosive, athletic lifting movements, and it includes many body-weight exercises including pull ups, pushups and the like, with Swiss-ball variations, or movements in different planes.
An example is the jacknife pushup, here shown with a Swiss ball rotation:

Here is a link to the Hype Machine post with The Hold Steady's cover of Bob Dylan's "Can I Please Crawl Out Your Window."
